The Role
A great career opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in Workplace Relations to join our Melbourne Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety practice (WRES). The team you would join consists of two highly regarded Partners with substantial practices, two Senior Associates and other lawyers and graduates who you will work closely with on the full breadth of employee relations, employment law, EEO, industrial relations, and the defence of safety matters.
The team has a long-standing and fantastic employer client base, many of whom have over 5000 employees, and you will be exposed to a wide variety of matters. You will also be directly exposed to the clients and work on high level and challenging work which will pave the way for clear progression. The team is happy, inclusive,
collaborative, and cohesive in nature and respects work/life balance. You will be provided with excellent mentoring. The Partners are very hands-on and work closely with the team members.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a reputable workplace relations practice. You will have strong commercial acumen and have experience providing technical legal advice to employers. Enjoyment of practising in Workplace Relations is a must. The successful candidate will be solutions-focused and will demonstrate excellent client service, initiative, enthusiasm, and teamwork.
