About the Role

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Cook to join the hospitality team at Riverside Gardens, Nambucca Heads NSW 2448.

In this role, you will assist with preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that support the health and wellbeing of our residents. You'll work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and in line with residents' dietary requirements.

As a Part-Time Cook, You Will:

- Prepare and cook nutritious meals in line with planned menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure meals are presented to a high standard and served on time
- Maintain food safety and infection control standards
- Assist with special dietary and texture-modified meal preparation
- Support stock control and minimise food waste
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organised kitchen environment




- Work collaboratively with the care team to support resident wellbeing
- Contribute to a positive dining experience for residents
- Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous cooking experience, ideally within aged care, healthcare, hospitality, or a commercial kitchen workplace
- Knowledge of food safety standards and secure food handling practices
- Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- A genuine passion for supporting older Australians
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a base salary between $79,000 - $85,000 pro rata, depending on experience and contracted hours.
