Country Fire Authority (CFA) is seeking a Research Scientist - Fire Risk Modelling to lead the development of its modelling capacity at the Burwood East HQ. You will build and maintain models, tools and systems to describe, predict and communicate CFA incidents.
The role requires a PhD or equivalent, robust Python and SQL skills, and experience in scripting workflows and spatial analysis. Some travel within Victoria is expected. Fixed-term, full-time position based in Melbourne.
