We are seeking a Dealership Customer Service Trainee to join our agile team in Wangaratta, VIC. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for someone eager to launch their career in the automotive industry. As a trainee, you will work under the guidance of experienced team members to develop your customer service skills whilst gaining valuable hands‑on experience in a fast-paced dealership environment. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service at every touchpoint, whilst learning the ins and outs of the automotive retail business.

Key responsibilities

Greeting customers with a warm, professional welcome and understanding their vehicle service or sales requirements

Processing customer inquiries, bookings and service requests in a timely and efficient manner

Maintaining accurate customer records and dealership information systems

Supporting the sales and service teams in delivering an exceptional customer experience

Assisting with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing and scheduling

Learning dealership procedures, vehicle features and customer service best practices

Responding to customer phone calls and emails with professionalism and courtesy

Helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception area

Identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and reporting feedback to management

What we're looking for

A keen interest in the automotive industry and customer service

Excellent communication skills,



both written and verbal

Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn new software

A friendly, professional demeanour and genuine desire to help customers

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from senior staff

Reliability and punctuality with a positive work ethic

A valid Australian driver's licence (preferred)

Experience in a customer-facing role would be advantageous but not essential for the right candidate
