Are you an experienced Network Engineer with a passion for delivering modern enterprise networking solutions? We are seeking a hands‑on professional to join a high‑profile project team, supporting the design, implementation, and optimisation of secure and scalable network environments.

This is an exciting prospect for a Network Engineer to work across Cisco SD-WAN, Wireless, Security, and Enterprise Network Infrastructure, contributing to critical transformation initiatives within a complex enterprise environment, based in Sydney for a 12 month contract initially with possible extensions.

Network Engineer | Sydney (Hybrid)| 12 month Contract

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Centre, and Cloud environments.
- Engineer and deploy secure Cisco SD-WAN solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Configure and support Juniper firewall technologies, including security policies, NAT, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Design and implement IPSec and SSL VPN connectivity for site‑to‑site, remote access, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Deliver network virtualisation and segmentation solutions using VRFs, Virtual Contexts, and VXLAN‑EVPN.
- Support and optimise Cisco Wireless infrastructure and Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC).
- Leverage Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for network management and automation.
- Develop and maintain network automation solutions using scripting and automation tools.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders within an Agile delivery framework.

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Network Engineer within large‑scale enterprise environments.




- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- Cisco Routing & Switching
- Cisco SD‑WAN technologies
- Cisco Wireless and WLC solutions
- Juniper networking and security platforms
- IP networking protocols and architecture
- Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
- VMware network integration and vManage
- Network automation and scripting

- Experience designing and supporting VPN technologies, including IPSec and SSL VPNs.
- Solid understanding of network segmentation, virtualisation, and modern networking architectures.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to cloud networking environments.
- Understanding of cloud connectivity and consumption models.
- Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments.
