TerryWhite Chemmart Browns Plains is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.

This is a part-time opportunity with the potential to progress to full-time hours in the near future. We’re looking for an experienced pharmacy professional who enjoys working with customers, has a strong interest in retail and beauty products, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

About the Role n

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll often be one of the first people our customers meet, helping create a welcoming and professional experience every day.

n

Working alongside our experienced pharmacy team, you'll assist customers with over-the-counter products, provide advice within your training and experience, and help maintain the high standards of service TerryWhite Chemmart is known for.

n

This position has a strong focus on retail pharmacy, beauty, skincare and customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers find the right products for their needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering outstanding customer service and personalised assistance.

n
- n

Assisting customers with over-the-counter medicines within your training and experience.

n
- n

Referring customers to the Pharmacist when appropriate.

n
- n

Providing knowledgeable assistance across beauty, skincare and general pharmacy product ranges.

n
- n

Processing sales accurately using the point-of-sale system.

- n

Maintaining attractive, organised and well-presented retail displays.

n
- n

Assisting with merchandising, promotional displays and general retail activities.

n
- n

Supporting TerryWhite Chemmart health services and in-store initiatives.

n
- n

Working collaboratively with Pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team.

n

n

This is initially a part-time position, with the opportunity to increase to full-time hours as the needs of the pharmacy develop.

n

Some occasional weekend work will be required, with roster flexibility available for the right applicant.

About You n

We're looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant who enjoys the variety of community pharmacy retail and has a genuine passion for helping customers.

n

Ideally, you will have:

n

Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant in a community pharmacy.

n
- n

Strong retail experience, including knowledge of beauty, skincare and general pharmacy products.

n
- n

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

n
- n

Confidence assisting customers with over-the-counter products within your training and experience.

n
- n

A genuine interest in beauty, skincare, health and wellbeing.

n
- n

Strong attention to detail and an eye for merchandising and presentation.

n
- n

A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a busy team.

n
- n





Positive computer and point-of-sale skills.

n
- n

A Certificate II, III or IV in Community Pharmacy would be advantageous.
