Events and / or Fundraising Coordinators
n **Role:**
n The Club Events &/or Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for planning, delivering and promoting fundraising, social and community events, while managing all public relations, marketing and media activities.
n **Responsibilities** (but not limited to):
n ● Convene and lead an Events & Fundraising Working Group.
n ●Assist with Developing an annual fundraising and social events plans that aligned with club financial goals and calendar.
n ● Generate increased income from existing fundraising sources and identify current opportunities.
n ● Organise and roster team dinners/bake sales/BBQ for Junior teams with Team Managers.
n ● Work with the Treasurer to define short and long-term fundraising needs and budgets for upcoming event.
n ● Develop and present event budgets for Committee approval.
n ● Recruit, support and manage event volunteers.
n ● Oversee the planning, marketing, delivery and evaluation of fundraising and social events.
n ● Supervise the collection, recording, and reconciliation of funds raised,



ensuring Treasurer policies are followed.
n ● Work with Social Media Coordinator to maximise the clubs’ social presences and events.
n **Skills and Attributes:**
n ● Excellent team management, motivation and coordination skills.
n ● Strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
n ● Good interpersonal and community engagement skills.
n ● Experience in event management, promotions or PR is highly desirable but not essential.
n ● Highly motivated, organised and proactive.
