VP/Director – Mining – Global Investment Bank

- Lead execution across complex M&A;, strategic advisory and capital markets transactions working with both local and global teams.
- Work closely with senior bankers and key decision-makers across leading mining companies, sponsors and institutional investors.

A leading global investment bank is looking to appoint a Vice President or Director to its Sydney-based Mining team. With an established client franchise spanning major diversified miners, producers and developers, the team advises on a broad range of strategic, M&A; and financing transactions. Continued client activity and a strong pipeline have created an opportunity for an experienced banker to join the team.

The role offers a blend of hands-on transaction leadership, senior client engagement and origination. You will take ownership of complex execution processes, lead financial modelling and valuation work, and work closely with senior coverage bankers on strategic advice and transaction opportunities across M&A;,



equity and debt capital markets. There is also scope to deepen existing client relationships, develop new opportunities and play an active role in the continued growth of the franchise.

The ideal candidate will bring 6-9 years of relevant experience in investment banking or corporate advisory, with a strong understanding of the mining sector. You will have a track record of executing M&A; and/or capital markets transactions, robust technical and financial modelling capabilities, and the confidence to manage complex processes and engage effectively with senior clients. Experience within a mining-focused team or advisory platform will be highly regarded.
