Lismore Base Hospital is seeking an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join its Paediatrics ward on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with paediatric experience to contribute to a busy, supportive team caring for children and young people across the Northern Rivers region. The contract runs from as soon as possible through to 25 October 2026, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

- Deliver direct patient care in a dedicated paediatrics setting with a focus on child-centred nursing practice
- Work alongside experienced clinical teams in a up-to-date hospital environment
- Contract role based in Lismore, NSW, with clear end date and flexible start arrangements

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated paediatric nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting




- Current Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) registration with AHPRA
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Competence in age-appropriate patient assessment and care delivery
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuing professional development

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse) or equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Additional paediatric-specific training or certification (such as paediatric emergency nursing) is advantageous
