Our client is a leading organisation seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team in Sydney.

Role summary

The Senior Finance Business Partnerwill provide specialist financial insights, analysis and strategic decision support to divisional and agency leaders. The role focuses on financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and funding options to support informed decision-making and improve financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, translating complex financial information into clear business narratives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning activities to support business objectives and financial performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement,



strengthen financial reporting and modelling, and coach team members to enhance business partnering capabilities.

Selection Criteria:

7-10+ years in corporate finance, including 3-5+ years in business partnering with senior leaders.

Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles.

Regular presentation of financial insights to executive leadership and previous working experience in State governments are highly desirable.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems and analytical tools such as SAP, TM1, OneStream, Power BI or Tableau.

On offer is a 6-month contract with likely extension at a highly sought-after organisation, with a highly competitive daily.
