WHAT WILL YOU DO? n

You’ll help keep the property looking its absolute best by:

n

- Leading, training and motivating housekeeping staff
n
- Coordinating daily room allocations and schedules
n
- Preparing and distributing daily allocation sheets
n
- Monitoring arrivals, departures and priority rooms
n
- Inspecting rooms and public areas
n
- Monitoring productivity and workflow
n
- Communicating between room attendants and supervisors
n
- Handling guest requests and special requirements
n




- Managing cleaning supplies and amenities
n
- Maintaining room status, DND reports and service logs
n
- Supporting the team with daily operational issues
n
- Ensuring health, safety and housekeeping standards are maintained
n

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Previous Housekeeping Supervisor experience
n
- Experience with room allocations
n
- Experience using Opera and HubOS
n
- Valid working rights in Australia

Job Description

Oaks Nelson Bay Lure Suites is currently looking for a hard‑working, dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Housekeeping Supervisor on a casual basis.

n

Job Responsibilities:

n

- Ensure all guest rooms, public areas,



and back‑of‑house spaces meet cleanliness and high presentation standards.
n
- Supervise and support the housekeeping team, promoting a productive and professional workplace culture.
n
- Oversee on‑the‑job training to ensure consistent procedures and quality standards.
n
- Maintain accurate housekeeping records, including daily logs, inventory reports, and maintenance requests.
n
- Collaborate with other departments and contractors to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
n

n

Shift Details(subject to change):

n

n
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
n
- Must be available to work weekends
n
- Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am
n

n

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

n

Monday - Friday: $34.96 per hour

n

Saturday: $41.96 per hour

n

Sunday: $48.95 per hour

n

Qualifications

n

To be successful in this role you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in supervising or managing housekeeping operations.
n
- Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, all operating supplies, replacements and consumables.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
n
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to set and uphold high cleanliness standards.
n
