Became part of the leading Apartment Hotel Group in Rockhampton. We are seeking passionate customer service professionals to join the award winning Empire Apartment Hotel and Edge Apartment Hotel.

- Exceptional front line customer service including check‑ins and check‑outs and resolving guest requirements.
n
- Operate a busy reservation desk with phone, e‑mail, web and walk‑in reservations.
n
- Exceed guest expectations.
n
- Support fellow team members across our entire operation.
n

Position context

Available as Full‑time Salaried or Casual roles.

Working hours

Shifts include 06:00‑14:00 or 14:00‑22:00 over a 7 day roster (Monday to Sunday).

n

Previous customer service and reception experience preferred but not essential.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities

n

- Customer Interaction & Order Processing – Handle inbound enquiries, process customer orders, and enter them into our ERP system with precision and efficiency.
n
- Providing Expert Product Advice – Learn and understand our partitioning systems, sliding doors and accessories, helping customers navigate options and find the best solutions.
n
- Managing Customer Cases & Problem‑Solving – Work with customers to resolve issues, track orders and ensure seamless service delivery.
n
- Building Relationships – Engage with architects, builders and subcontractors, adapting communication style to build long‑term relationships.
n
- Working Cross‑Functionally – Collaborate with internal teams including sales, manufacturing and logistics to ensure customer needs are met.
n

What you’ll bring (Experience)

n

- Customer service experience – ideally in retail,



hospitality or a fast‑paced setting where multitasking and customer interaction are key.
n
- A natural problem solver – you enjoy finding solutions, making decisions on the go, and thinking creatively to assist customers.
n
- Confidence with humility – you take initiative but are also open to feedback, eager to learn and driven to improve.
n
- Numeracy skills – comfortable with pricing, product calculations and order processing in an ERP system.
n
- Adaptable communication skills – adjust speaking style to different audiences.
n
- A strong sense of responsibility – you take ownership of your work and can deliver results.
