The Skin Lab Brisbane is looking for an experienced medical receptionist who puts patients at ease, thinks ahead and takes pride in following things through.

Your role

Working alongside doctors, nurses and dermal clinicians, you will:

Welcome patients and manage appointments and enquiries.

Coordinate referrals, recalls, correspondence, and follow-up bookings.

Manage Medicare billing, payments, and patient accounts.

Support provider schedules,



identify issues early, and help keep the clinic running smoothly.

About you

At least two years of recent medical reception experience.

Hands-on Medicare billing andpatient supportskills

Warm, clear communication, and a calm, organised approach.

Reliability, initiative, and sound judgement. You work through everyday problems, pay attention to detail, and know when to seek support.

Confidence using medical practice software. Genie experience is highly regarded.

You genuinely enjoy helping people and have an interest in skin health and medicine. Dermatology experience is welcome but not essential. We also welcome experienced receptionists from general practice and other medical specialties.
