nAbout the Role n
n

This is a hands-on leadership position, combining quality carpentry with day-to-day site coordination.

n
n

You'll be responsible for overseeing the onsite delivery of a manageable number of allocated renovation projects, working closely with our Builder and Construction Scheduler & Coordinator to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

n
n





You'll remain actively involved on the tools while providing direction and support to our carpenters, apprentices and subcontractors.

n
nKey responsibilities include: n

Undertaking high-quality carpentry and general renovation works.

n
n
- n

Leading and coordinating the day-to-day activities of onsite employees and subcontractors.

n
n
- n

Managing site priorities and ensuring works progress according to the project schedule.

n
n
- n

Planning ahead for materials, trades and labour requirements.

n
n
- n

Identifying potential delays, site issues and quality concerns early.

n
n
- n

Maintaining safe, clean, organised and professional worksites.

n
n
- n

Mentoring apprentices and supporting less experienced team members.

n
n
- n

Providing clear and timely project updates to the Builder and Construction Scheduler & Coordinator.

n
n
- n

Maintaining professional and respectful communication with clients and other stakeholders.

n
n
- n

Assisting with final inspections, defects and project handovers.

n
n

n
nAbout You n
n

We're looking for someone who leads by example, takes ownership of their work and understands the importance of communication and forward planning.

n
nTo be successful, you'll have: n
n

n
- n

Trade qualification in carpentry and a current White Card.

n
n
- n

Extensive experience in residential construction, ideally specialising in renovations.

n
n
- n





Previous experience as a Leading Hand or demonstrated ability to lead an onsite team.

n
n
- n

Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing and quality standards.

n
n
- n

The ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and scopes of work.

n
n
- n

Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

n
n
- n

Confidence coordinating trades and managing competing site priorities.

n
n
- n

A proactive approach to planning and identifying potential issues.

n
n
- n

High standards of workmanship, presentation and workplace safety.

n
n
- n

A current driver's licence and reliable transport.

n
n

n
