Junior Foreperson / Leading Hand – Tier 3 Commercial ($2M – $10M Projects) n

A leading Tier 3 Commercial Builder based in Sydney, is looking for an energetic Junior Foreperson / Leading Hand . Specialising in fast-paced projects valued between $2M and $10M , we have an exceptional reputation for delivering high-quality commercial projects across refurbishments, new builds and Heritage restoration/adaptive reuse and community infrastructure.

Because our projects are fast, dynamic, and highly detailed, you will gain exposure to the entire lifecycle of a project—accelerating your growth into a Site Manager. Remuneration & Benefits

Salary Package: $85,000 – $110,000 + Super (commensurate with experience)

Tools of Trade: Company phone, laptop, and branded uniform

Project Variety: Work on a diverse portfolio of education facilities, new builds and refurbishments, government projects across all sectors and Heritage restorations.

Key Responsibilities n

Running your own projects or supporting the Site Manager on larger projects ranging from $2M to $10M, your focus will be on driving daily productivity and maintaining standard excellence:

- Trade Supervision: Coordinating workflows for subcontractors to keep fast-tracked schedules on timeline.
n
- Site Readiness: Managing day-to-day site logistics, materials handling, and access control.
n
- WHS & Environment: Enforcing site safety, conducting daily pre-starts, and ensuring proper site inductions.
n
- Quality & Defects: Overseeing quality control checklists and proactively managing the defects list throughout the build.
n

Role Requirements nn
- Background: Trade background (Carpentry highly regarded) or a Bachelor Degree in Construction Management.
n
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience on live commercial construction or refurbishment sites in Sydney.
n
- Certifications: Valid NSW White Card and a current Australian driver’s license.
n
- Attributes: High energy, transparent communication skills, and the confidence to direct site personnel professionally.
