Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Control, this newly created Senior Group Financial Accountant role takes ownership of statutory reporting, technical compliance, internal controls, and climate-related financial disclosures (AASB S2).

Located in Sydney CBD with a 50% hybrid model, this is an ideal move for a Big 4 trained Chartered Accountant seeking high-visibility corporate exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Group & Statutory Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial statements, subsidiary accounts, and statutory year-end disclosures.
- Month-End Control: Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, journal processing, intercompany accounts, and core financial controls.
- AASB S2 & ESG Disclosures: Lead finance initiatives integrating climate-related financial reporting frameworks.
- Technical Accounting & Audit: Manage external audit processes, technical compliance, and internal control testing.

What We Are Looking For:

- CA qualified with Big 4 audit experience servicing large corporate clients.
- Mandatory:



Practical exposure or hands-on experience with AASB S2 / ESG reporting standards.
- Robust technical capability across group consolidations and IFRS/AASB accounting standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
