3D Concrete Printing Supervisor

Oasis Building Group & Dune Building Technologies is looking for a hands-on 3D Concrete Printing Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation of our COBOD BOD2 construction printer. This is a practical role at the leading edge of home building. You’ll prepare and run print jobs, lead a small printing crew, keep the printer and supporting equipment in good working order, and help develop the systems that make our work safer, more consistent and repeatable.

You don’t need previous 3D concrete printing experience. We’re looking for someone with strong technical ability, a practical approach to solving problems, and the confidence to lead a team in a developing industry.

What you’ll do

- Lead print shifts and coordinate the work of printing staff.
- Prepare print jobs, including reviewing models, print files and machine setup.
- Operate the COBOD BOD2 and monitor the print from setup through to completion.
- Check concrete delivery and print performance, including extrusion consistency, layer placement and other quality indicators.
- Keep clear records of print settings, material adjustments, downtime, faults and outcomes.
- Identify issues with the printer, pump, hoses, Wi-Fi, alignment or other equipment, and troubleshoot or escalate them as needed.
- Carry out routine inspections, cleaning and preventative maintenance, and coordinate repairs when required.
- Develop and maintain practical work instructions, checklists and standard operating procedures.
- Train team members in equipment use, printing procedures and safe work practices.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers,

suppliers and site teams so printing work is ready for the next stage of construction.
- Manage printing materials and consumables, including stock levels and ordering requirements.
- Maintain a safe, organised printing area and follow site and equipment safety requirements.

What you’ll bring

- Experience in a hands-on technical, construction, manufacturing, mechanical or concrete-related role.
- Confidence using equipment, following technical instructions and diagnosing practical problems.
- A careful approach to quality, record keeping and equipment maintenance.
- The ability to lead and support a small team.
- Clear communication and a steady approach when plans or equipment need attention.
- A willingness to learn specialist printing equipment and help improve how the work is done.
- A current driver licence and ability to work on construction sites.

Experience with concrete pumps, batching, construction equipment, CAD or print preparation would be useful. Experience with 3D printing is welcome, but not required.

The person we’re looking for

You take ownership of the work, stay calm when something goes wrong and follow issues through to a practical solution. You’re comfortable being hands-on while also helping others learn, keeping good records and making sure the next print runs better than the last.

What we offer

- The opportunity to work with large-scale construction 3D printing technology.
- A hands-on leadership role in a growing team.
- The chance to build practical expertise in a recent area of construction.
- Opportunities to help develop the processes, equipment knowledge and team capability behind Dune’s printing work.
