Primary Objective: Contribute to the delivery of a culturally appropriate health care service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients by providing a liaison service within Royal Darwin Hospital/Palmerston Regional Hospital. Establish and maintain rapport with patients, offering support, and advocating on their behalf.
Ensure
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have access to information in relation to health services by providing a variety of approaches to information and education. Two fixed vacancies are available in either Darwin or Palmerston subject to negotiation with the successful applicant.
