Are you an organised, detail-oriented accounts person looking for a rewarding role with flexibility in your working week?

DTA Architects is seeking an experienced accounts person to support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of our architectural practice. Working closely with our Directors and team, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your role while contributing to a vibrant, creative, and professional business.

This is an office-based position, with all hours worked from our Gregory Hills studio.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include

- Managing accounts payable and receivable.

- Preparing invoices and following up outstanding payments.

- Completing bank and account reconciliations.

- Processing payroll and maintaining accurate financial records.

- Assisting with financial reporting and liaising with our external accountant.

- Managing project progress claim schedules and financial tracking.

- Coordinating Quality Assurance systems and annual renewals.





- Providing general administration support to the Directors as required.

About You

You will bring

- Proven accounts experience, preferably using MYOB.

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

- Confidence working with accounting and business management software.

- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to work independently, manage priorities and maintain confidentiality.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience within an architectural, construction or professional services workplace would be highly regarded.

Desirable but not essential:

- An interest in supporting the studio's social media presence and marketing initiatives, including assisting with content coordination, project promotions and maintaining brand consistency.
