Our client is a well-established not-for-profit that is passionate about supporting the community. With a strong community focus and a growing range of services, they are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their close-knit finance team on a permanent full-time basis.
About the role
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and driving the timely collection of outstanding balances
- Preparing and running regular invoice cycles accurately and on schedule
- Investigating and resolving account discrepancies and responding to customer queries promptly
- Raising and tracking credit notes, keeping records accurate and up to date
- Setting up new customer accounts and keeping existing account details current
- Helping to reconcile and process NDIS claims as needed
- Building strong working relationships with internal teams and external customers
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects
About you
- Eexperience in an accounts receivable, credit or billing position
- Confident communicator who can handle sensitive conversations with empathy
- A genuine interest in making a difference in the community
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain them
