About us

Geelong Chinese Medicine is an established clinic of 20 years, located within the Corio Bay Health Group multidisciplinary centre. We act as a thinking partner for people whose health stories fall between the cracks of the medical system, and we work alongside conventional care to help patients find clarity and move toward better health.

The role

We are looking for an AHPRA-registered practitioner to join our small contractor team on Monday or Tuesday clinic days, with two days per week available for the right person. Recent graduates are welcome to apply. You will build your own patient list in a clinic with established systems, a steady flow of recent and returning patients, and a team that values clinical discussion.

What you will do

- Consult with patients using acupuncture and/or Chinese herbal medicine
- Take thorough case histories and build clear treatment plans
- Dispense herbal prescriptions from our on-site dispensary
- Keep accurate clinical notes
- Communicate with patients' GPs and other practitioners where appropriate





What we are looking for

- Current AHPRA registration in acupuncture and/or Chinese herbal medicine
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Clinical experience at any level, from recent graduates to established practitioners
- A thoughtful approach to complex presentations and a willingness to learn through peer case discussion
- Respect for working in collaboration with conventional medicine
