Academy is looking for an energetic, dedicated educator to join our nurturing team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children’s education and recreational activities
- Managing children’s behaviour and guiding their social development
- Preparing and conducting activities for children
- Entertaining children by reading and playing games
- Supervising children in recreational activities
- Supervising the daily routine of children
- Supervising the hygiene of children
About You:
- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in an early learning workplace
- Confident in creating monthly lesson plans with engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
- Able to confidently embed the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) into your practice
- Bring enthusiasm, creativity and a positive attitude every day
- Strong understanding of child development, inclusion and best practice in early learning
- A self starter who takes initiative, with a passion to own the room and run activities as required
Pay: $40.20 – $41.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 per week
Work Location: In person
