The Role

Based at Helidon, you will lead the Assembly team to ensure safe and cost-effective operations while meeting business and customer requirements.

You will manage day-to-day activities, allocate operators to tasks, build accountability, and mentor and coach team members. You will also contribute as part of the broader site leadership team.

- Lead the team’s health, safety and environmental compliance
- Manage and approve direct team leave
- Promote continuous improvement practices
- Support performance management within the direct team
- Ensure accurate paperwork and on-time production of orders
- Communicate quality issues and possible equipment or process improvements

What You’ll Bring

- You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
- Experience managing a team in a manufacturing environment
- People management, coaching and mentoring skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving and performance management capability
- Queensland driver licence and Queensland Security Card (or ability to obtain)
- Competency in Microsoft Office, with SAP S&D;/PP knowledge desirable
