Latem Finance Pty Ltd is a Brisbane-based asset finance brokerage with a panel of more than 40 lenders.

We help people and businesses finance cars, caravans, motorbikes, boats, equipment and business assets.

What you’ll do

- Call, follow up and convert the digital leads we send you
- Handle objections and ask for the business
- Match each client to the right lender, product and structure
- Complete needs and responsible-lending checks on every deal
- Manage your pipeline from first call to settlement

How you’re paid

- ABN contractor role. Commission only, with no base pay. You receive 50%, rising to 70%, of Net Commission as your monthly settled deals grow.
- Net Commission is the commission on your settled deals, less your business costs, including leads at cost. Your business costs are explained in full at interview.
- Established full-time brokers can earn AUD $150K+ gross a year after their first 3 to 6 months. High-performing full-time brokers can earn AUD $250K+ gross a year.

- You enjoy helping customers find the right deal, and you’re keen to learn

Great backgrounds include real estate, dealership finance or business management, mortgage or insurance broking, lender BDM roles, banking or lending, and any phone-based or high-performance sales role.

New to broking? That’s fine – finance can be taught.

Already a finance broker?

- Experienced asset finance, equipment, commercial and mortgage brokers are welcome, on the same pay terms, lender panel and digital leads
- ~1-2 months of in-office induction and onboarding at our Brisbane City office to learn Latem’s systems, lenders and processes, then flexible arrangements can be discussed based on performance
- Do you meet ASIC’s standard for a Responsible Manager of an Australian credit licence – at least 2 years of relevant, problem-free credit experience and a credit-industry qualification at Certificate IV level or higher, or another relevant higher qualification? Tell us in your application. Applicants who meet Responsible Manager requirements will be favourably considered.

Essentials

- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or full working rights
- Happy to work as an ABN contractor on commission only (we’ll help with the ABN)
- Time at our Brisbane City office (Riparian Plaza, 71 Eagle Street, Brisbane City QLD 4000) at the start – 3 months of training if you are new to finance,



or ~1-2 months of induction and onboarding if you are an experienced broker – then flexible hybrid arrangements can be discussed based on performance
- Willing to complete the credit, background and identity checks needed to become an authorised credit representative – we explain the process and you can tell us about anything in your history
- Your own laptop and smartphone, and skilled indemnity insurance before you start - we can help you set up
- A current Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, or willing to complete a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking

Experienced brokers based elsewhere in Australia are welcome to apply; induction and onboarding are in Brisbane.
