About the OrganisationOur client is a Melbourne-based specialist insurance broker that pairs Financial Lines broking and risk advisory with its own data and technology platform. It is a Steadfast member with access to Lloyd's.It specialises in the wealth and financial services sector. Clients include retail advice businesses, licensees, boutique advisory practices, family offices, fund and asset managers, corporate advisers and accounting firms.The business has built its partnerships, data infrastructure and products, and is now scaling.

It runs a lean structure and competes with firms many times its size.

About the RoleWe're recruiting an Associate to join the Wealth and Financial Institutions practice.You'll manage a portfolio of financial services clients and convert current business from established lead generation and partner relationships. You'll work alongside the Managing Director and the senior broking team.This is a client-facing broking role with a pathway to a senior role, not a support or administration position.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing a portfolio of clients, including independent advisers, corporate advisory firms, asset managers and licensees
- Converting new business from existing lead generation and partner relationships
- Placing cover with insurers in Australia and London
- Learning the insurance needs and advice requirements of financial advisers, licensees and financial institutions
- Helping improve the CRM and supporting the data products the business builds
- Interstate travel for client activities and industry events

About YouYou'll have at least 3 years of Financial Lines broking, account management or placement experience.Ideally you'll bring:

- A real interest in the finance and wealth sectors
- Attention to detail and well-developed client skills
- A degree in Law, Commerce or Finance (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of advice products,



investment platforms and licensees (highly regarded)

Account Managers and Account Executives from Financial Lines teams at global, national and specialist brokerages will be considered. What's on Offer

- $90k to $120k + super, plus a performance bonus
