The opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Associate, Investment Operations to join our Funds Management team.

Reporting to the Manager – Funds Management, you’ll be responsible for investor-facing deal documentation, deal lifecycle administration and investor onboarding. Acting as a central point of coordination across the business, you’ll help ensure investors receive accurate, timely and clearly presented information throughout their investment journey.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with detail, managing multiple priorities and collaborating across teams in a fast-moving financial services environment.

What you’ll be doing

- Reviewing and publishing investment memorandums, ensuring information is accurate, consistent and released on time
- Coordinating with teams across the business to gather and verify deal information, loan terms and supporting documentation
- Tracking investments from investor offer and settlement through to extension and repayment
- Maintaining accurate deal trackers, investment records, key dates and maturity information
- Coordinating loan term extensions, internal approvals and updates to investment records
- Preparing and issuing investor notifications relating to extensions, repayments and other deal events
- Managing investor onboarding from application review through to account activation
- Completing KYC and AML checks, including identity verification, entity structures, beneficial ownership and PEP and sanctions screening




- Escalating complex or higher-risk onboarding matters to Compliance
- Maintaining complete, accurate and audit-ready investor and KYC records
- Responding to investor queries relating to onboarding, investments and deal events
- Identifying opportunities to improve onboarding, deal tracking and investor communication processes

What you’ll bring

- Tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, business or a related discipline
- Around three to five years’ experience in financial services, ideally within funds management, private credit, investment operations or client onboarding

- Practical experience with investor onboarding and KYC and AML processes, including individual, company and trust structures
- Experience preparing investor-facing documents or communications
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to present investment information clearly and accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and a solid control mindset
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deals and competing deadlines
- Confidence working with internal stakeholders and investors
- Exposure to real estate lending or property debt investments, which would be highly regarded
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
