The Opportunity

We Have An Exciting Chance For An Experienced Senior Lawyer To Join Our Highly Successful Insurance Division On a Full-time Basis.

Based In

Brisbane, The Successful Candidate Will Enjoy Working On High Value Matters For Premium Insurer Clients In a Team That Is Recognised Within The Industry For Delivering High Quality Advice And Outstanding Service To Clients Across a Diverse Range Of Sectors Including

- Public liability – Personal Injury & Property

- Product liability; and

- Indemnity

The key purpose in this role will be to offer a broad range of personal injury and general insurance services to a wide network of clients. You will be required to have a demonstrated and sound knowledge of the industry, with the ability to run matters through to completion. And, as a senior member of the team, you will be experienced in, and comfortable leading and mentoring junior lawyers.

Skills And Experience To be successful in this role you will have:

- A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current Queensland practising certificate

- Minimum 3 years' post admission experience in general insurance matters, including liability claims

- Experience in personal injury proceedings in Queensland
- A passion for and experience in mentoring and supervising junior lawyers





- Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields

- High degree of initiative, dedication and organisation ability with a strong client and commercial focus
- A commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectively; and
- A strong, plain language communication style.
