Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Lead to lead automation strategy, framework development, and quality engineering initiatives across multiple applications and programs.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, API automation, CI/CD, and enterprise-level test automation frameworks, along with proven experience leading automation teams and driving quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the automation strategy across multiple applications and programs.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership across UI, API, Mobile, Integration, and Regression testing.
- Drive adoption of CI/CD, DevOps, and Continuous Testing practices to improve release cycles and product quality.
- Establish automation standards, governance, reusable components, and best practices.
- Mentor and guide automation engineers, providing technical direction and support.
- Analyse automation coverage and identify opportunities to improve test efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
- Troubleshoot complex automation and framework issues and drive root-cause analysis.
- Leverage AI-driven testing approaches to improve test coverage, productivity, efficiency, and overall quality outcomes.





Required Technical Skills

- 6+ years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in test automation.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Selenium
- Playwright
- Cypress
- Appium
- API Automation
- Strong experience designing and developing enterprise test automation frameworks.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in at least one automation language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
- Strong understanding of UI, API, Mobile, Integration, and Regression testing.
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of DevOps and Continuous Testing practices.
- Experience with Git and modern source-control practices.
- Solid understanding of test automation design patterns and best practices.

Leadership & Quality Engineering

- Experience leading or mentoring automation testing teams.
- Ability to define and enforce automation standards and governance.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement across QA and automation practices.

AI-Driven Testing Experience or exposure to modern AI-driven testing practices, including:

- AI-assisted test case generation
- Intelligent test automation
- AI-powered test data generation
- Self-healing automation
- AI-assisted defect analysis and troubleshooting
- Using AI tools to improve automation productivity and test coverage
