Role Description The Back End Developer role at EgoTECHworld is a full time, remote position focused on building and maintaining server-side applications and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing APIs, optimizing databases, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. The role involves collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, troubleshooting issues, and improving existing codebases.

The Back End

Developer will participate in code reviews, follow best practices for software development,



and contribute to technical documentation. This position requires consistent communication with cross-functional team members to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development for building and maintaining server-side systems.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming for designing clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Basic understanding of Front-End Development to effectively integrate APIs and support seamless end-to-end functionality.
- Experience with at least one server-side language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Node.js) and relevant frameworks.
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, API design (REST or GraphQL), and security best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate using digital communication tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
