Speed Gas is a proudly Australian-owned company that has been supplying LPG and industrial gases to businesses across Australia for more than 25 years. Our extensive and continually expanding product range includes LPG, Argon, Argon Mixes, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide and other industrial gases.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for someone who can help us expand our customer base and strengthen our presence throughout Melbourne's Western Suburbs.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, field-based sales role focused on identifying new business opportunities, winning new customers and expanding Speed Gas's presence throughout Melbourne's Western Suburbs. You will spend your time:

- Actively prospecting for new customers through face-to-face visits, networking, referrals and lead generation
- Identifying and engaging prospective customers
- Promoting Speed Gas products and services to potential customers
- Following up leads and enquiries to convert opportunities into new business
- Understanding prospective customers' needs and recommending suitable gas solutions
- Working towards agreed sales targets and KPIs




- Completing required reporting and sales activity updates
- Representing Speed Gas professionally within your territory

No two days are the same. This role offers plenty of variety and independence and would suit someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting new people and creating new business opportunities.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with the right attitude, drive and willingness to learn. Previous experience in sales or new business development will be highly regarded, but it isn't essential.

Experience in B2B sales, industrial gases, LPG, manufacturing, trade or a related industry would be an advantage, but we're equally interested in people with the personality and drive to build a successful career in sales.
