The exciting opportunity:

- Take ownership of business development activities, identifying opportunities to grow the client base across metropolitan Perth
- Build referral relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, GPs, allied health professionals and community organisations
- Get out into the community, making calls, attending meetings, networking events and industry expos to generate new business
- Follow up enquiries, meet with prospective clients and families, and turn referrals into new clients
- Promote the organisation's services through presentations, community engagement and regular contact with referral partners
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities, keeping CRM records and follow-up activities up to date
- Work towards agreed sales and referral targets, monitoring your progress and identifying new opportunities
- Work closely with the care team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients accessing services

About you:

- Proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of generating leads and winning new business
- Experience in home care, aged care, healthcare, disability or community services would be highly regarded
- A natural relationship builder who enjoys meeting people, starting conversations and opening doors
- Confident making cold calls, approaching new referral partners and working towards sales targets
- Resilient, motivated and comfortable taking ownership of your results
- Robust communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust with healthcare professionals, clients and families
- Organised and comfortable using CRM systems to track leads, manage follow-ups and report on activity
- Genuine empathy and an understanding that behind every referral is someone looking for the right care and support
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across metropolitan Perth for meetings and networking activities
