Hays is partnering with a confidential government sector organisation based in Bendigo that is delivering a significant business improvement and organisational transformation program. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Business Readiness Lead to support the successful delivery of change initiatives across customer-facing and operational teams.

Your new role

Working closely with project teams, business leaders and operational stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating business readiness activities to ensure staff are prepared for process improvements, system enhancements and operational change.

This is a highly collaborative position focused on stakeholder engagement, communication planning, business support and readiness activities across multiple projects and workstreams.

Key responsibilities include

- Conducting business readiness and change impact assessments

- Developing communication, engagement and implementation plans

- Creating learning materials, guides and business support resources

- Coordinating testing participation and business readiness activities

- Supporting leaders to communicate and implement change within their teams

- Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions

- Monitoring risks, issues and dependencies impacting readiness





- Providing go-live support and assisting with successful adoption of new processes

- Managing readiness activities across multiple concurrent initiatives

- Building strong relationships across operational and project teams

What you will need to succeed
- Experience in Business Readiness, Change Management or Operational Readiness roles

- Demonstrated experience delivering projects and initiatives to strict deadlines

- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

- Experience developing communications, training and learning materials

- Experience supporting frontline, customer service or contact centre environments

- Robust planning, organisational and analytical skills

- Experience with Jira, Miro and Microsoft 365 environments will be highly regarded
