We're looking to appoint an experienced Business Services Manager to join our Accounting & Tax division.

About the Role

As a Business Services Manager, you will:

- Lead a portfolio of business services and tax clients across compliance and advisory engagements
- Act as the trusted day-to-day contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships
- Review financial statements, tax returns and advisory work prepared by team members
- Mentor, develop and support junior accountants and senior staff
- Identify opportunities to add value and deliver proactive advice to clients
- Contribute to business development initiatives and the continued growth of the firm
- Work closely with Directors on strategic client matters and succession planning

About You To succeed in this role, you will have:

- CA or CPA qualification
- Significant experience within Business Services and Tax in public practice
- Previous experience operating at Manager level, or a high-performing Senior Manager ready for the next step




- Strong technical expertise across accounting, taxation and compliance
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships
- Natural leadership ability and a passion for developing others
- A genuine desire to progress towards Directorship, Partnership and equity ownership

Desirable Experience

While not essential, the following would be highly regarded:

- Business development and client acquisition experience
- Quoting and proposal preparation experience
- SMSF knowledge and exposure
- Experience working with clients across a diverse range of industries
- Advisory and strategic business consulting experience
