Full‑Time Butcher – Superior Meats (Immediate Start)

Superior Meats is expanding our team and looking for an experienced butcher who takes pride in their craft, delivers exceptional customer service, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced, community‑focused environment.

About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and skilled full‑time butcher to join our shop. This role offers consistent hours and a mix of production, customer service, and general shop duties. No two days are the same, and you’ll be part of a hardworking team that values quality and genuine customer care.

Key Responsibilities

- Break down, prepare, and present a wide range of meat cuts to high standards

- Operate machinery safely (bandsaw, mincer, slicer, etc.)

- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and OH&S; practices

- Serve customers with professionalism and strong product knowledge

- Assist with stock rotation, packing, labelling, and merchandising

- Work collaboratively with the team to keep the shop running smoothly

About You

- Qualified butcher or significant hands‑on experience in the trade





- Strong knife skills and attention to detail

- Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required

- Comfortable working in a busy environment and managing multiple tasks

- Committed to maintaining a clean and secure workspace

Hours

Full‑time position including availability on Saturdays.
