About the Role

We are currently seeking and experienced and motivated Cabinetmaker to join our team based on the Central Coast.

As a cabinet maker with Porta, you will be exposed to many areas of our business by rotating between our Central Coast production facilities and our Construction team. This will provide you with hands-on experience across the full joinery process, including the manufacture and installation of kitchens, bathrooms, office fit outs, reception counters and other custom joinery projects, as well as the production of exhibition joinery and showroom fit outs.





All joinery is manufactured exclusively for Porta’s internal business requirements and projects, and we do not provide joinery services directly to the public.

About you To be successful in this role you will:

- Be trade qualified with a minimum of 3 years experience

- Have proven experience in the installation of kitchens

- Have basic knowledge of CNC and general plant machinery

- Have the ability to lead on installs and supervise apprentices

- Have strong problem-solving skills

- Have excellent customer service skills and well-developed communication skills

- Be reliable, keen and willing to work overtime as required

- Be self motivated to ensure daily goals are achieved

- Hold a current driver's licence and be prepared to travel as necessary

- Forklift licence (an advantage)

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
