Billabong Zoo is seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic, friendly and motivated junior team members to join The Meeting Point Café team.

This position is perfect for school-aged applicants, with shifts primarily available on weekends and during school holidays.

Our Hospitality and Retail team members play an important role in creating a positive and memorable experience for our visitors. As a Junior Team Member, you will assist with:

- Preparing and serving food and drinks
- Serving ice creams, snacks and café items
- Assisting customers at the counter
- Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system (training provided)
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Restocking shelves and displays
- Supporting the team during busy periods

You’ll be working in a fun, quick-paced environment where teamwork, friendliness and a positive attitude are essential. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- A friendly and confident attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable speaking with customers
- Availability on weekends and during school holidays
- Must have the legal right to work in Australia.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

- Any experience in customer service, sport teams, volunteering, or school leadership
- Food Handling / First Aid Certificate is adventageous
- Interest in conservation, wildlife,



or eco-friendly practices that align with the zoo's mission and values.
