We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Café Attendant to join the team at the Café 1929, located on the raafa Estate in Bull Creek, directly opposite the Aviation Heritage Museum.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a newly established service and help shape a warm, community-focused café. Café 1929 is becoming a vibrant social hub, serving museum visitors, volunteers, retirement living and residential care residents, and their guests alike.

With daytime-only service, a cosy 22-seat layout, and a welcoming atmosphere, this venue offers a casual and friendly café experience tailored to the needs of the raafa and broader community. The role and you:

- Greeting, interacting with and attending to customer requirements
- Providing café-style food service to residents, staff, museum visitors and guests
- Barista duties, including preparing quality coffee and specialty beverages
- Preparing and serving non-alcoholic drinks
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the café, food preparation and service areas
- Monitoring, rotating and restocking stock and supplies as required
- Cash handling, point-of-sale operation and daily balancing
- Providing guidance and support to team members when required
- Supporting the ongoing development and success of this newly established café
- Representing The raafa Way through genuine, community-focused customer service

- RSA preferred;

- Be eligible to work in Australia;
