We are looking for a Candidate Manager / Account Manager to join our team and play an key role in our recruitment delivery and client engagement.

Working across Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Property and Civil, you will partner with our consultants and existing clients to understand hiring needs, identify quality talent and deliver a considered, professional experience from initial conversation through to placement and beyond.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys the people side of recruitment, is confident building relationships and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service. You will have the opportunity to develop your market knowledge, build a robust candidate network and become a trusted contact for both clients and candidates.

What you will be doing

- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, understanding their experience, career goals and motivations
- Proactively source and engage talent through LinkedIn, SEEK, our database and professional networks




- Partner with clients to understand their requirements and identify suitable candidates
- Manage recruitment assignments, from initial search and candidate assessment through to interview coordination, offers and placement
- Conduct candidate interviews and provide informed advice on career opportunities, salary expectations and market conditions
- Keep candidates engaged and informed throughout the recruitment process, delivering a positive and professional experience
- Develop and maintain talent pools to support current and future recruitment requirements
- Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure consistent follow-up and aftercare
- Work collaboratively with the wider ROUSSOS team to deliver strong outcomes for our clients and candidates

About you You are a natural relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people, understanding what motivates them and finding opportunities where they can thrive. You are organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities, while maintaining a high standard of communication and follow-through.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Previous experience in recruitment, candidate management, account management or a relationship-focused role
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with people at different levels




- The ability to build trust, establish rapport and maintain long-term professional relationships
- A proactive approach to sourcing talent, identifying opportunities and solving problems
- Solid organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding client needs and industry trends
- A genuine commitment to providing a positive candidate and client experience
