BARTENDER – SUZY’S

Suzy’s is busy, bold and a little bit cheeky — and we’re looking for an experienced Bartender who can keep up.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a bar, can handle a busy service without losing their cool and takes pride in every drink that leaves the pass.

THE ROLE

As a Bartender at Suzy’s, you’ll be responsible for delivering consistently great drinks while keeping the bar running smoothly, efficiently and to a high standard throughout service.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to Suzy’s standards
- Making cocktails consistently, with attention to flavour, presentation and detail
- Confidently operating bar equipment and using appropriate glassware
- Producing a high volume of drinks efficiently during busy service periods
- Maintaining consistency across all drinks, from classic cocktails to speciality beverages
- Providing friendly, engaging and knowledgeable service to guests
- Making recommendations and confidently upselling drinks where appropriate
- Keeping the bar clean, organised, stocked and service-ready throughout the shift
- Monitoring stock levels and communicating shortages to management
- Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries and restocking as required




- Working efficiently alongside the floor, kitchen and management teams
- Communicating clearly with FOH during busy services to ensure smooth service
- Ensuring all drinks leave the bar looking their best
- Assisting with bar opening and closing duties, including cleaning and preparation
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, responsible alcohol service and workplace safety
- Following RSA requirements and all relevant liquor licensing regulations
- Jumping in and supporting the wider team wherever needed

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a bar and genuinely enjoys hospitality.

Someone who can walk into a busy service, find their rhythm and keep the drinks flowing without compromising on quality, presentation or guest experience.

You’ll ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Bartender in a busy bar, café or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and other beverages
- Confidence preparing cocktails and handling a high volume of drink orders
- Experience working efficiently with bar equipment and POS systems
- A current WA Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- The ability to stay calm, organised and effective under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work

- A friendly, confident personality and a natural ability to connect with guests
- A professional and well-presented appearance
- A solid understanding of cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety
- A proactive attitude and the ability to anticipate what the bar needs next
- Availability to work across weekends and public holidays as required
