From corporate Christmas parties and gala dinners to family fun days, cocktail functions, weddings and outdoor festivals, no two shifts at Luna Park are ever the same!

THE ROLE

As part of our Events Team, you'll help bring a wide variety of memorable events to life.

Your responsibilities will include

- Providing professional and friendly food and beverage service across a variety of events.

- Serving food, carrying and clearing plates, and providing efficient drinks service.

- Assisting with event set-up, room configurations and pack-down.

- Following event orders, run sheets and specific function requirements.

- Setting tables, preparing glassware, polishing cutlery and ensuring event spaces are presentation-ready.

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and customer service.

- Working closely with our Events and Operations teams to ensure every function runs smoothly.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for hospitality professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working as part of a team and know how to deliver exceptional service with a smile.

Ideally, you'll bring experience from a hotel banquet, corporate events, catering or busy bar environment.

To be successful, you'll have:

- A minimum of 6 months' experience in catering, functions or banquet service (essential).

- At least 12 months' experience working in a busy bar environment (highly regarded).





- A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

- Confidence carrying trays of drinks, serving multiple tables and clearing plates efficiently.

- The ability to read and follow event orders, run sheets and room set-up instructions.

- Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

- A professional presentation, excellent grooming standards and a reliable, punctual approach to work.

- The ability to work both independently and as part of a busy events team.

AVAILABILITY & REQUIREMENTS

We're heading into our busiest and most exciting time of year, so flexibility and availability are significant.

Successful applicants must

- Be available for casual shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends.

- Have strong availability throughout mid-November and December, particularly on weekends.

- Be available to work evening and late-night functions as required.

- Have valid Australian working rights.

- Hold a current RSA certificate.

- Share our passion for creating fun, memorable and exceptional experiences for every guest.

Uniform: Black shirt, black trousers and black shoes are required. Aprons will be provided.
