What you'll be doing

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will deliver safe, efficient and evidence-based nursing care to patients requiring urgent and emergency treatment.



You will work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.

- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within your scope of practice and professional standards

- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in accordance with NSW Health policies, procedures and clinical guidelines

- Respond effectively to changing clinical priorities while managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment

- Support a culture of learning by contributing to the development of staff, students, patients and carers

- Maintain professional competence through ongoing education, training and clinical skill development

- Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
