Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented individual looking to make a meaningful difference every day? Cater Care is seeking a motivated Kitchen Hand to join our vibrant team at Uniting Nareen Gardens in Bateau Bay. In this essential role, you will play a key part in supporting our culinary operations, maintaining high standards of kitchen presentation and hygiene, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our residents.

Roster:

Enjoy a varied schedule across the week, with opportunities to pick up short-notice shifts.

What This Role Involves:

- Wash kitchenware using commercial dishwashers or manual methods.
- Clean and sanitize food prep areas, benchtops, and cooking equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety across kitchen and service floors.
- Dispose of waste and recycling, ensuring hazard-free work zones.
- Adaptable and versatile team player with a proactive, can-do approach

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- Experience assisting in kitchens, and contributing to effective daily kitchen operations
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team




- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Previous experience in retirement living / age care sector would be well regarded
