About the Opportunity Una Early Learning & Kindergarten is looking for a passionate, organised and reliable Centre Cook to join our Albany Creek team.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves preparing nutritious meals, takes pride in their kitchen and enjoys being part of a supportive early childhood community.

Working Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 2:30 pm, you'll enjoy consistent weekday hours with no weekend work, while playing an important role in supporting children's health, wellbeing and development.

About the Role

As our Centre Cook, you will be responsible for creating nutritious, balanced and enjoyable meals that support children's healthy eating habits.

Your responsibilities will include

· Planning and preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

· Catering for individual dietary requirements, allergies, intolerances and cultural needs.

· Maintaining high standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.

· Managing food ordering,



stock control and food safety documentation.

· Building positive relationships with educators, children and families.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, care and pride to their work.

Ideally, you will have:

· A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and relevant food safety knowledge.

· Experience preparing meals in an early learning centre or similar environment.

· A strong understanding of allergy management and special dietary requirements.

· Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills.

· A current Paid Blue Card and a commitment to child safety.

You will be someone who enjoys working independently, embraces teamwork and understands that mealtimes are an important part of children's learning, development and wellbeing.
