Pinjarra Rest Pty Ltd Indian Chef/ Cook Taj Restaurant is located in a regional area of Perth and is looking for an experienced cook/chef who can make most dishes in-house using quality produce, with experience in curries and tandoor-style cooking. Must have experience preparing and cooking North Indian cuisine. Sponsorship available for the right candidate, if required.

E.g., Chicken Curry, Fish Curry, Tandoori Chicken, Beef Vindaloo, Chicken/Vegetarian Biryani, Daal-Makhni, Malai Kofta, all types of tandoori Naans. The successful applicant must have demonstrated experience as follows, and duties/requirements for this position will include, but not be limited to; Ø Must have knowledge of Indian Spices, ingredients used for Indian cooking. Ø Preparation of food in a commercial setting using modern tools and utensils. Ø Ensuring that the highest possible quality of the dishes is maintained at all times.



Ø Maintenance and enforcement of hygiene practices at all times. Ø Candidate must have relevant experience. Ø Ability to work in a fast-paced à la carte establishment Ø Highly organised, efficient, hard-working and proactive Ø Self-starter, problem solver and natural communicator. Ø Have a flair for plating and presentation. Ø Team player, helpful, reliable and prepared to perform all kitchen duties. Ø Positive attitude and great work ethic. Ø Must be available to work weekends, public holidays, and split shifts as and when required.
