Roster: Monday to Friday | 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Gather by Cater Care is seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at Ballarat Grammar Boarding. You'll prepare and present quality meals for functions, formal dinners and special events, bringing your culinary expertise and baking skills to a welcoming education environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and present high-quality meals for functions, formal dinners and special events
- Execute baking and bulk food preparation to meet service requirements
- Support efficient kitchen operations and ensure timely meal delivery
- Deliver professional, customer-focused service to guests
- Uphold food safety,



hygiene and workplace health and safety standards

About You

Desired Skills and Experience

- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Proven baking skills are essential
- Demonstrated experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
- Experience in high-volume catering, ideally within an education or boarding school environment
- Solid organisational skills and a commitment to upholding food quality, safety and presentation standards

Please Note All successful candidates will be required to satisfy a Working With Children Check and undertake a National Criminal History Check.
