About Puralink
There’s an entire world beneath your feet. We’re building the robots to explore it.
Pipes carry the water we drink, keep cities running and support everything from energy production to data centres. They’re essential, often difficult to access, and surprisingly poorly understood. We’re changing that.
Puralink is building the operating system for the world’s pipes. Our autonomous robot, the Ferret, gets inside infrastructure to inspect it. Our software platform, PuralinkOS, turns what it finds into intelligence that helps customers understand their assets and make better decisions.
That means bringing together robotics, AI, mechanical engineering and real-world operations. At our Mascot HQ, you’ll find engineers designing hardware, robots being assembled and a team working through the challenges of getting technology out of the workshop and into customer sites.
We’re looking for a hands-on Chief of Staff to help keep all of that moving. You’ll work directly with our COO across operations, commercial delivery and the countless details that go into growing a robotics company.
The role
Your week might include planning a Ferret deployment, helping shape a customer proposal, organising a demonstration and fixing an internal process that everyone has quietly been working around.
You’ll work closely with the founders, engineers, customers and suppliers to turn priorities into action. Some days you’ll be at HQ getting a project over the line. Others, you’ll be at a customer site or industry event, helping people understand what Puralink can do.
The common thread: you take ownership, make things clearer and follow through.
This role suits someone early to mid-career who enjoys variety, learns quickly and gets satisfaction from making things happen. You should be as comfortable preparing for a customer meeting as chasing a supplier or getting the CRM back into shape.
What you’ll do
- Turn plans into progress. Work with the COO to define next steps, coordinate people and keep important work moving.
- Help get Ferrets into the field. Coordinate customer visits, demonstrations and robot deployments with our engineering team.
- Support the commercial side. Help with customer discovery, market research, proposals and follow-ups.
- Keep us organised. Make sure our CRM, project information and documentation are useful, accurate and current.
- Make HQ run smoothly. Coordinate suppliers, purchase orders, invoice administration and everyday operations.
- Bring Puralink to the world. Help organise trade shows and industry events, and represent the company alongside the team.
- Build better ways of working. Spot recurring friction and improve the systems behind it.
- Catch things before they fall through the cracks. Ask the extra question, notice the missing detail and work out what needs to happen next.
What we’re looking for
You’re organised, curious and dependable. You can take an ambiguous task,
ask sensible questions and turn it into something finished.
You’ll bring
- A track record of owning work and seeing it through
- Clear communication with customers, suppliers and technical teams
- Commercial curiosity and an interest in how a robotics business grows
- Good judgement, initiative and attention to detail
- The ability to balance competing priorities when plans change
- A willingness to get stuck into both customer-facing work and everyday administration
You could come from operations, project coordination, commercial support or another hands-on generalist role. We care about what you’ve owned, improved and delivered.
You don’t need to arrive knowing everything about robots or pipes. You do need to be interested enough to learn.
Why Puralink
You’ll work on something tangible. There’s a particular satisfaction in watching a robot head into a pipe and knowing you helped get it there.
You’ll learn directly from the founders. You’ll see how decisions get made across customers, engineering and operations, with real responsibility for turning them into results.
Your improvements will matter. A better deployment process, a well-run demonstration or a timely customer follow-up can make a visible difference.
You’ll help shape how we grow. We value rapid iteration, customer obsession and trust. You’ll have room to take ownership and build ways of working that grow with the company.
Location
Full time, on-site at our Mascot HQ in Sydney, with customer-site and event work.
