TGC Property Group
Sydney
Location: Sydney
Reporting to: David Khoury, GM TGC Property Group (TGC)
Type: Full-time (flex working if desired)
About The Role:
TGC is at an exciting growth inflection point, with plans to grow our Sales and Leasing team.
The Chief of Staff (COS) will play a central role in this journey. This is a mid-level, broad-reaching position with oversight across business operations, direct leadership of multiple functions, and a seat at the executive table (consists of founder, Tim Green and TGC GM). The COS’s success will be tied to the company’s key performance measures: revenue growth, recruitment and broker performance.
This role requires someone who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution. We’re a small team, so while you’ll help set direction, you’ll also roll up your sleeves when needed. For the right candidate, this is a pathway role into a future Chief Operating Officer (COO) position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue & Growth Enablement
Partner with the GM to deliver growth goals.
Support current brokers to exceed commission thresholds through marketing, CRM improvements, training, systems and insights.
Improve and maintain scalable sales processes.
Oversee cross-divisional opportunities with Asset Management.
Oversee the full time virtual marketing resource, including workflows and regular small initiatives that assists in building the brand and engaging with buyers, tenants and owners.
2. Systems, Technology & Innovation
- Champion technology and innovation as a driver of growth, differentiation, client experience, and efficiency.
- Lead change management, ensuring new systems and processes are adopted, embedded, and deliver measurable impact.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation, leading by example by getting hands-on with tools and testing new ideas.
- Shape how we evolve and invest in systems (e.g., Salesforce,
AI/automation, marketing tech), balancing frugality with smart investment to maximise value for a company of our size.
3. Leadership, Communication & Operating Rhythm
Play a key role as part of the team, shaping priorities and driving alignment, accountability, and execution across the business.
Lead the company’s operating rhythm: executive meetings, all hands meetings, quarterly planning, annual offsites, and reporting cadences.
4. People & Culture
- Maintain and build on our solid culture and engagement – our people are our most important asset.
- Measure and manage performance through accountability structures (e.g., bi-annual reviews) that drive both results and culture.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and probationary reviews for new hires, ensuring we grow the team with high-potential talent and support them to reach strong performance.
- Champion ongoing training, development, and team connection to support growth and engagement.
- Oversee company policies and other ad hoc people matters, ensuring they scale with the business and uphold our culture and values.
5. Strategic Projects & Partnerships
- Lead special projects that accelerate growth or efficiency.
- Manage relationships with key partners (IT, payroll, marketing, vendors).
- Explore and evaluate new commercial opportunities and partnerships.
About You
- Commercial and revenue-focused – background in sales, business/ revenue operations, growth, or commercial strategy is preferred.
Open to other relevant backgrounds.
- Tech- and systems-savvy – confident with tools, automation, and process improvement; know when to build vs buy, and skilled at getting the most from systems (ideally including Salesforce, Notion, or similar).
- Scale-up mindset – experience in small, growing businesses; comfortable context-switching, wearing many hats, and solving problems cost-effectively.
- People and leadership-focused – able to engage, inspire, and hold people accountable while empowering them to succeed; experienced in managing and coaching across multiple functions.
- Action-oriented – a driver of business outcomes with a strong sense of ownership, exceptional organisational skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communicator and collaborator – excellent communication and interpersonal skills; friendly, proactive, optimistic, and thrives in a team environment.
If you don’t meet all of the criteria but believe you are the right fit for the role we’d still love to hear from you! First time Chief of Staff are encouraged to apply.
