Nourish young minds through healthy food Join our Early Childhood team and play an important role in supporting children to thrive through nutritious meals and positive food experiences. Working within a welcoming childcare environment, you'll prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks that support children's growth, development and wellbeing, while helping to create enjoyable daily routines around food.

Your role, your impact

- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks that meet the dietary needs of young children
- Create and maintain seasonal menus that align with healthy eating guidelines
- Support children's wellbeing by catering for allergies, special dietary requirements and cultural food preferences
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Manage stock and ordering to ensure kitchen supplies are maintained within budget
- Build positive relationships with children,



families and colleagues to promote healthy eating habits

Who we're looking for

- Experience working as a Chef or Cook
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Passion for providing healthy, nutritious meals for children

Mandatory qualifications:

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Current Anaphylaxis Training, or willingness to obtain prior to commencing
