Seasonal Christmas Decorator
Come and help us make Christmas happen!
It’s our busiest time of year and we’re looking for energetic, reliable people to join the team as Christmas decorators. You’ll be out on the road delivering and setting up Christmas trees and decorations for corporate and individual clients, and leaving every space looking magical.
What you’ll be doing:
- Setting up and decorating real (chopped pine) and artificial Christmas trees, plus wreaths, garlands and other decorations
- Packing and unpacking the van, including ladders, trees, and boxes of decorations
- Assembling decorations before they go up on site
- Packing the trees and decorations needed for each job
- Packing everything away after the season
- Cleaning up after set-up and pack-down, including sweeping and vacuuming
- Taking direction from your team leader and working well with the crew
- Travelling to sites around Victoria
- Pitching in with other jobs around the business of Christmas decorating
Driving
If you’re an allocated driver, you’ll be driving vans on Victorian roads, so you’ll need to be comfortable driving in the city.
What we’re looking for:
- A full driver’s licence
- Confidence driving in city traffic
- A good attitude and a team-player mindset
- Being happy to work on your feet, lift, carry and use ladders
- Reliability and attention to detail, because our clients notice the little things
- Previous decorating, events, retail or removalist experience is outstanding but not essential. We’ll show you the ropes.
