MYAC RESOURCES PTY LTD MYAC Resources Pty Ltd is a Western Australian company delivering industrial maintenance, fabrication, plant modification and construction-support services. We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to deliver the civil engineering component of our work programme.

Position overview The Civil Engineer provides technical assessment, civil design, coordination, construction advice and verification records for our commissioned work and internal engineering activities. The work centres on civil assets and their interfaces with plant and structural steel, including: assessment of existing foundations and concrete assets reinforced concrete foundations, plinths and anchorage interfaces associated levels and access the engineering information needed to construct, modify or remediate these assets Benefits Competitive salary. 38 ordinary hours per week under the National Employment Standards. responsibilities Review drawings, specifications, maintenance records and survey information; inspect accessible foundations and concrete assets, record condition and defects, and prepare civil assessment reports with recommendations and limitations. Develop the civil design basis for each package, confirming scope, design actions, survey levels, ground information, service constraints and acceptance criteria; track assumptions and technical queries.



Prepare and check engineering calculations and details for foundations, plinths, reinforced concrete works and anchorage interfaces; assess design alternatives, remediation options, constructability and safety risks; arrange technical review before issue.

Coordinate civil interfaces with structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical and survey specialists, including load inputs, levels, geometry, tolerances and drawing revisions. Prepare or review civil drawings, specifications, measured quantities, work sequences and inspection requirements; provide engineering input to scope, cost estimates, procurement and construction planning; coordinate and review drafting inputs. Attend inspections and hold or witness points; compare work with current drawings and specifications; respond to civil technical queries; record nonconformances and corrective actions.

Maintain calculation, drawing, revision, query and inspection registers; review test results and completion evidence; prepare civil completion reports; support technical proposals, procedures and lessons learned. Qualification &

experience Bachelor degree or higher in Civil Engineering (essential).

Australia skills assessment as a Civil Engineer,



for overseas-qualified applicants (essential). At least 3 years of post-graduate experience in civil engineering assessment, design and construction support (essential). Eligibility for skilled engineer registration where required under WA law (essential).

Current driver’s licence and Construction Induction (White Card); ability to complete client site inductions and medicals (essential). Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, including AS 3600 and AS/NZS 1170. Ability to review drawings in AutoCAD or similar.

Quantity take-off and engineering input to cost estimates. Strong written and verbal communication with clients, specialists, contractors and site personnel.

Experience assessing existing concrete assets and designing plant foundations (highly regarded).

Experience on industrial, resources or brownfield projects (highly regarded). Chartered status (CPEng) or progress towards it (highly regarded). Willingness to travel to client and project sites across Western Australia.
